Your Audio Stays on Your Device
Audio files you open, and audio you capture with Record Tab Audio, are processed entirely inside your web browser. They are never uploaded to, or stored on, our servers. Loops you export are generated locally and saved straight to your device.
Information Stored in Your Browser
- Consent preference: your cookie/advertising choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask on every visit.
- Saved loops: loop names, start/end times, speed and pitch settings you save are kept in local storage on your device only.
- Interface preferences: small settings such as whether you dismissed the “What’s New” banner.
This information never leaves your browser. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

We use Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps the tool free.
